The Grizzl-E Power Control and Payment Solution consists of the Power Control and Payment Hub (PCPH) and individual EV chargers, also called Nodes. There are 2 types of PCPH:

Each PCPH includes 20 RFID cards for fast identification of frequent users.
Both the PCPH and PCPH Lite operate on redundant power, processors, and memory to eliminate critical failures due to computer malfunctions. The same principle that is used for computers on space missions.
Each individual Electric Vehicle charging station is called a Node and is made from a modified Grizzl-E EVSE with additional control functions.
At least one PCPH is required per site can accept and control an unlimited number of Nodes. Although it is not recommend to exceed 42 nodes per hub. The PCPH controls each node through a CAT6 wire, so there is no need for Wi-Fi or a cell signal.
The recommended minimum system set up is one PCPH and 10 Nodes. Individual Nodes are inexpensive to implement, allowing ample space for EV drivers.

The PCPH and PCPH-Lite can operate in 2 modes: Stand Alone mode and Connected Mode.
In Stand Alone Mode the control hub collects all required information and payments without an internet connection. This means that there is absolutely no network or payment fees.
In Connected Mode the control hub connects to the internet through a LAN, Wi-Fi or Cellular connection. Owners can set up, control, and draw data from the system online, and customers can make internet payments.
The GPCPS provides an easy to use admin interface to set up and control all the aspects of the EV charging station. The Admin interface allows owners to set up detailed prices either per hour or per KWH, assign Nodes to RFID cards or PIN codes, as well as turn Nodes ON and OFF by date or time. Individual Node Dedication
Individual Nodes can be dedicated for public, private, or special use. Public Nodes can be used by anyone and require payment at the hub. Private Nodes are issued to specific individuals through a payment plan or taxable benefit, and can be customized to accept identification through a RFID card or PIN code, or not require any identification at all. Nodes can also be specially customized for a combination of Public and Private use.
Access to the charging station can be provided by PIN codes, existing company RFID cards, specialized RFID cards included with the system, or on-site payment.
Multiple Nodes can be assigned to one power source to limit the total output. PCPH controls the current load in real time to reduce the output and maintain a maximum allowed amperage. Power Share can be dynamically managed depending on time of the day to maximize profits during peak and off-peak hours.
PCPH can participate in Demand/Response programs of local utility providers to shift the load to off-peak hours or for emergency power situations.
The PCPH collects complete telemetry of the charging sessions including date/time, user, session duration, KWH consumed, payments, usage, and profitability.
After the PCPH is installed it is extremely easy to expand your system. Nodes can be added, removed, modified, or replaced from the PCPH system Admin interface. Nodes connect in a chain with one control input and one control output. To install an additional Node, simply connect it by CAT6 wire with the nearest active Node and configure it on the Admin interface. Only takes 5 minutes to do!
Payments can be accepted by the coin collector (bills acceptor can be added) in Stand Alone Mode or by any payment provider in Connected Mode. The unit records the collected money and notifies the owner when the set threshold is met so they can retrieve the money once it reaches that point.
PCPH can be branded with a company Logo both on the screen and on the actual PCPH box.
Receipts are printed by the PCPH on site for customers paying with the coin acceptor.
The PCPH system has real-time monitoring for its health and the health of each Node, and provides error reporting for fast issue resolution. Since we know how important it is for you to keep the system running at all times, PCPH has the ability to switch to redundant circuits if the primary circuits fail, allowing the system to continue operation while repairs and parts are on the way.
