GRIZZL-E HARDWARE: FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH THIRD-PARTY OCPP BACKEND
Grizzl-E charging stations are fully compatible with OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) 1.6J, for integration with third-party OCPP servers. Grizzl-E chargers are designed for openness and interoperability with existing OCPP networks. Some OCPP servers will require integration changes to ensure all functions work correctly.
How to Connect Your Grizzl-E Charger to
an OCPP Server
Grizzl-E Smart
Power on the charger. Ensure the indicator light is solid Magenta.
Open the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone or desktop.
Connect to the charger's Wi-Fi network (the network name is your charger’s serial number).
Open a browser and enter 192.168.4.1 in the address bar.
On the webpage, click the Show Available Networks button to display all Wi-Fi networks.
Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password.
Click the Advanced OCPP Configuration button.
Enter the full URL of your OCPP server without the station ID (e.g., wss://some.ocpp.server/address/).
If required, enter the authentication key for your server.
Enter the station ID.
Click Apply Changes.
Click Save and Reboot.
Verify the connection. If successful, the indicator light will be Blue.
Grizzl-E Ultimate and Grizzl-E Mini
Power on the charger. Ensure the indicator light is solid Magenta.
Connect to the charger's Wi-Fi network (the network name is your charger’s serial number).
Open a browser and enter 192.168.4.1 in the address bar to access the configuration page.
Go to the Setup tab and scroll to Wi-Fi Connect Configuration.
Enter your Wi-Fi network name or click Search to display available networks and select yours. Enter the Wi-Fi password.
Enable the Connect button, then click Save and Confirm to apply the new settings.
In your browser, enter 192.168.4.1/ocppconfig to open the OCPP configuration page.
Enter the third-party OCPP server details in the Configuration section.
Click Save.
Restart the station’s power.
