Many Provinces, States, and electrical utilities provide incentive programs, rebates, and tax credits for purchasing and installing Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment. The following is a list of incentives that Grizzl-E qualifies for.

Be installed in Alberta on municipally owned or leased land (assessed on a case-by-case basis) or at a municipally owned facility;
Be a permanent installation (mounted or fixed);
Be new and purchased equipment (not leased);
Be for a new install or an expansion of an existing installation (not for the replacement of an existing installation);
Be an eligible technology used to charge passenger EVs, including charging stations equipped with SAE J1772 standard plug connectors, Combined Charging System (CCS) plug connectors (otherwise known as SAE J1772 Combo), CHAdeMO plug connectors, or other proprietary charging connector types;
Be a networked charger with the ability to communicate to other stations and/or to a server or the cloud through a cellular or wireless signal or connected vehicle communications using software to report on usage and/or other capabilities such as real-time charging station status;
Be approved for sale and use in Canada by a third-party evaluator such as Canadian Standards Association (CSA), Underwriters’ Laboratories of Canada (ULC), Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL), Interlink, or equivalent;
Be installed in accordance with the Alberta Safety Codes Act and in compliance with all applicable local building, electrical, zoning, parking codes and bylaws;
Hold a valid electrical permit and have completed and passed all required inspections;
Be installed by a fully licensed electrical contractor; and
Be installed with a dedicated parking space clearly identified for the purpose of charging EVs, if meant for general public use.
You must be a residential FortisBC electricity or municipal electricity customer of Grand Forks, Penticton, Summerland or Nelson Hydro.
The home where the charging station is to be installed must be at least six months old (i.e. not new construction) and have dedicated parking for residents of the home.
Eligible types of homes include single-family detached homes; mobile homes on a permanent foundation; or side-by-side duplexes with individual electricity meters and garages or dedicated parking for the residents of each unit.
Applications must be submitted within 90 days of the installation of the charging station.
Residence must be located in an RDN Electoral Area (homeowners in Nanaimo, Lantzville, Parksville and Qualicum Beach do not qualify for this rebate)
The installed charger must meet BC Hydro Power Smart Program requirements
Applications are accepted from January 1, 2024, through December 15, 2024

To finance Level 2 electric vehicle charging equipment, you must own a battery electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid registered in the Province of Manitoba.
The maximum amount eligible for financing is $3,000 per charger, including installation.
Financing is available for one Level 2 charger per vehicle. To be eligible, the charger:
Must be new and for residential use only;
Must have a nominal voltage rating of 208 and 240 V only;
Must be third-party certified by ULC, CSA or ETL;
Must be installed and connected by a licensed electrician with an electrical permit taken out for the work performed."

To be eligible, the building must be located on the territory of Berthierville and be residential. In addition, the home charging station must have been installed after March 2, 2020, be supplied with an electrical voltage of 208 to 240 volts and be installed by an electrical contractor holding a license from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ).
The City of Coaticook offers a rebate of up to $250 to reimburse the cost of purchasing and installing the charging station by a master electrician.
In order to benefit from the Dorval grant, you must provide the invoice as proof of purchase of the home charging station as well as the invoice of an electrician as proof of installation.
This plan offers a discount equivalent to 25% of the purchase and installation of a home EV charging station up to a maximum of $250.
This program provides a rebate of 25% of the cost of acquiring and installing a home EV charging station up to a maximum of $250.
